CAN

The Redeemed Christian Church of GOD (RCCG) in its bid to reach out to the less privileged birthed CAN. CAN is part of RCCG's Christian Social Responsiblity (CSR) which is sub-divided into eight identifiable sections called SHEMBAGS. This acronym represents Social, Health, Education, Business, Arts and Culture, Government and Sports. CAN is under the Social Section.

The word CAN is coined from: A can of Garri,Beans,Rice can make a lot of difference. By giving out just a little of what you have when pulled together we can meet the needs of the less privileged.

In the RCCG Promised Land Parish, this initiative has evolved over the years into a full-fledged Department that reaches out to about 600-1000 people weekly over eight centres from as far as Ikota to Ajah to our neighborhood Baale. The Church's vision is to grow the base of centers we reach out to weekly.

Partnering with CAN gives you the opportunity to fulfill GOD'S mandate to us as HIS children and that way show love to others who may never meet you but have experienced JESUS through your simple gesture that way souls are saved by the show of love.
